MEET THE TEAM
Ben Fearnley
Ben has been building for over 15 years and has experience in new house builds, a wide range of renovation work, fences and decks.
Qualifications:

Ben loves being a Dad to his three kids, hanging out, roasting marshmallows, and kicking a ball around. He also enjoys diving and fishing in the summer months (or whenever he can).
Bec Fearnley
Bec gained her BEdPE in 2005 and taught as a PE and Health teacher for 4.5 years before having kids. At this point she took over the administration of the business and is now very involved with the day-to-day organisation including working with clients and subcontractors.

Bec loves being a mum and raising 3 kids with Ben. She loves getting out and about, enjoying exercise, running and biking, as well as family activities in the weekends.
Toby
Before Toby started building, he worked in the adventure tourism industry working as a glacier guide in NZ, and also as a ski instructor in Canada. Toby started working as an apprentice for Fearnley Construction in 2019 and says he loves every minute working alongside great people.
Toby really likes experiencing the outdoors, from skiing in the winter, to rock climbing in the summer.
Kathryn
Kathryn is a wedding and family photographer, after having a career in Emergency nursing. Having a young family, she enjoys spending time with her three kids, photographing within her own business Captive Moments, and works part-time as an Accounts Assistant for Fearnley Construction. She is a great help to Bec and a fantastic member of our team.

Kathryn loves getting outdoors walking or jogging, skiing, or going to the lake. You'll also find her on 4WD adventures camping in the back country of NZ.
Nico
Nico joined Fearnley Construction as an apprentice in 2021 after having enjoyed his work experience through a school program. He has spent most of his youth out in the country, moving to Leeston at a young age. Nico grew up playing a lot of sport, playing rugby as long he can remember, as well as tennis and basketball. Throughout the years at high school he started to really enjoy building, spending most of his time in the school workshop. Nico says he’s really enjoying working for Fearnley Constrution - making it easy working with a great group of people.
